Against the two top 50 Ken Pom teams so far (ISU & KSU), Mark Smith is 5-12 from three but four of those occured in the second half when the games were already blowouts.
Mark is only a sophomore. But, JB shot 40% against top competition and did it all game especially when games were close. Mark is getting his against Ken Pom 300+ or in mop up minutes.
So, no...not similar to Barnett last season at all.
