Tournament thoughts

Some good coming out of this tournament, in no particular order:
1. Pinson is showing a lot of effective hustle, which bodes well for the season at a position of greatest need last year and this
2. Reed much better - well thank goodness we have someone to back up the man who can't stay on the court
3. Geist comes alive. Related to 1. above?

Some bad comming out of this tournament:
1. Tilmon can't stay on the court...again
2. Not a lot of consistency across the board, but admittedly early
3. Mark Smith came back to earth...already

Thoughts on the rest of the season: CM is still able to get the team focused on effort, it seems. With that being the case, there will still be a lot of interesting basketball left this season. Unfortunately, it does not appear that all the right games will be interesting :), but...last year was better than expected, as a result this year is not as good as expected, but next year should be good again. Typical Mizzou rollercoaster, but better than a straight flatline. Upward trend overall will continue.
