Alonzo Verge is one of the top point guard prospects in the country and he's right in Mizzou's backyard. He had West Virgina, Oregon, Oklahoma, Baylor, coaches in the gym all the time to recruit, and Mizzou was nowhere to be found. Bobby Hurley came to visit him directly 3 times and now he's committed to Arizona State.
Verge was Chicago player of the year out of high school, Juco All American last year, and just dropped 55 in a game last week, while never turning the ball over.
