Said one of the issues with many of the ballots are people who never update where they live when they have moved. The election board sends out notices and registration cards, which come back as undeliverable. Those voters aren't removed from the rolls but get classified as inactive voters since their residence is no longer verifiable.
When they show up to vote, their vote isn't suppressed, but it requires careful scrutiny to determine if they are actually residing in the district.
So once again, people fail to take the time to update their information....you have to update info for your employer and the IRS. You have to update information for the utilities. You are supposed to update information to the DMV (ahem). But somehow it is voter suppression because you never updated your information to the election board and your ballot has to be scrutinized.
