I'm sure this isn't an exhaustive list, so feel free to add to if you have additional examples.

Justin Gage – Gage still holds 3 all time MU football records and went to play in the NFL from 2003 – 2010. Was a basketball walkon whose contributions in the 2002 NCAA tourney helped MU to the Elite Eight in a season he avged 2.3 ppg and 4.1 rebounds.

Andrew Jones – Avged 0.4 ppg and 0.5 rebounds for a 30 win Tiger team that required his assistance due to having only 7 other players in their rotation. He was rated the 2nd best recruit in the state of Missouri as a football tight end, choosing MU over Oklahoma. After a rather productive freshman season on the gridiron he was sort of passed over by the development of Michel Egnew and saw his role decrease considerably.

Mike Jeffries – originally a quarterback on MU’s football team as a freshman, he switched to basketball as a sophomore and was part of both of Missouri’s first 20 win seasons. He scored 28 points in a 69-68 win over OU to give MU the conference tournament championship, and went on to be the 110th pick of the NBA draft by the Kings in 1973

Lamont Frazier – A 4 year letterman in basketball who scored 20 points in MU’s infamous triple overtime Braggin Rights triumph in 1993-94, his Tiger team would go on to earn a #1 seed in the NCAA Tourney and he was named honorable mention all Big Eight and a member of the Big 8 All Defensive team. After his basketball playing career concluded, he suited up for the football squad the following season and was a 2nd team All Big Eight selection as a tight end.

Carl Ristine – Captain of MU’s 7-0-1 Mo Valley conference champion football team, he was also the first Tiger basketball player ever to be named to an all conference team when he was selected in 1909 after leading MU to a second place finish in the Valley. His teams won every game they ever played against James Naismith coached ku.

Thorton Jenkins – Two time recipient of All Conference honors for MU basketball, he led the Tigers in scoring 3 seasons and also went on to be an AAU All American in 1950. Jenkins also played football and baseball at MU, and after his playing career ended became a basketball official that presided over multiple NCAA Final Four games.

Herb Bunker – Bunker actually lettered in 4 sports at MU: basketball, football, baseball, and track. He was a defensive lineman and captain of the Tiger’s 1922 football team. He was an unparalleled defender in an era of low scoring on the basketball court. He is MU basketball’s only 3 time All American, earning the distinction every season he played varsity. MU went a combined 48-5 during his playing days and were awarded 2 national championships in basketball.
