No one tarnished or diminished anything. I support the burning of the flag - when called upon if the nation acts in a deplorable fashion. I support standing up to the govt when it behaves deplorably. THAT is my RIGHT of expression.
And NO - I don't think any of those statues should be removed and never did. They are part of our collective History. I don't support white-washing that history.
It is important we know that TJ and GW owned slaves. That is our history.
That you feel so threatened by Communism just cracks me up. We ought to have a Communist Party in this country. And a Socialist Party. And a Labor Party. All voices are welcome in these United States.
