Calhouns on the River or The Copper Cellar for a bite to eat. They are both close to campus. If you are walking around campus and want a sandwich try Gus' Good Times Deli.
If you try to stay overnight near campus you will get robbed. I recommend the Farragut or Oak Ridge areas. There used to be a public shuttle from Farragut that was pretty cheap, but make sure you don't miss your return trip. If they still have it they pick you up at the high school and then return you out there after the game.
