And didn't show any hangover from the gut wrenching "snatching defeat from the jaws of victory" performance at SC. That's tbe big takeaway for me. Road games, even against lesser teams, can be tricky. I was mildly worried about this one.

Now 3 critical home matches in a row, Georgia on Sunday, then Tennessee and Kentucky the following Wednesday and Sunday. We should take care of business against a good Georgia team now crippled with the sudden defection of their all SEC star T'ara Caesar. At home, we have a great chance to take care of very good UT and UK teams, although UK is the far tougher team, clearly the best team in the SEC after their recent dismantling of Florida. Our tournament resume would be enhanced a lot with a signature win over UK, and it would likely increase our chances of getting placed in a regional against a halfway beatable national seed. That's what we are fighting for now. In the right regional, we have a punchers chance of getting back to the sweet 16 for the third year in a row, which would be outstanding.
