Was his experience at UI just a bad situation and now he is ready to be the player everyone thought he would be? Or does he still have a lot of work to do?

I still expect our frontcourt to be effective even without Jontay. Losing Jontay hurts. The question is whether or not Mark Smith can play defense, shoot the 3, take some of the ball handling pressure off of Geist, and attack the basket for points.

If Mark comes in and plays well I think we can still be on that bubble come March.
