minimum wage is a wage floor

and anyone with even a simple understanding of economics would know that setting such a floor only dooms those job holders to poverty because of the inflation those wage floors cause. Their value in the workforce is forever deemed as "minimum wage worthy" giving them (and their jobs) virtually no upward mobility.
