That revved up the Right, but it seems - based on polling - that that reaction rev-up came too early and has faded.
These are not normal times. But History proves a pattern that if you are in power you lose in the mid-terms. If you are less than 50% you lose badly. Trump - unlike every other president has never even seen 50%. He peaked at 46 after the election. Currently he is about 40. History would suggest next Tuesday going to be a bad night for him.
