Nato has been good for europe, not the us.
Just how stupid, and uninformed are you? Germany's too weak to meet it's commitments.

No working submarines. Only 4 out 128 fighter is combat ready. Lost 19 helicopter pilots due to no training, broken equipment.
Germany's not even close to meeting their 2% spending commitment.
