Winning 25-15, 25-18, 25-20 in the sweep. Hardly seemed to break a sweat, they just dominated them and made them look ordinary for long stretches. Outhit them .274 to .104. Very impressive win, even with Floridas Thayer Hall still out.
Florida drops into a tie with us for second in the SEC at 10-2. Kentucky now with a 2 game lead over both. Going to be a war when they come to Columbia in a few weeks. If we win out, we are in great shape to finish in second in the conference and get a high #2 seed in a regional against one of the lower national seeds. A lot would have to fall in place for us to steal a 15 or 16 seed at this point. And I just don't see Kentucky losing to anyone else but possibly us, so I think realistically we are fighting for second place in the conference.
The more important goal is to finish strong, at least 5-1 on the last 6 matches, and get the best regional placement and opponent possible in the NCAAs.
