I get there are two types of assessing, projecting how good they will be in college and determining how big of a recruiting get they were. The former is obviously much harder than the latter but I don't think that is what they are trying to accomplish here.
At no point in time was Steve Moore considered a bigger recruiting get than Mike Dixon or Ricardo Ratliffe by anyone. Moore was always considered a rather big reach and kind of an afterthough to his class, whereas the other two were basically the key figures in their classes and seen as program impacting additions. Other than Tony Mitchell, Ratliffe was easily the biggest signing of the 5 year Mike Anderson era at MU.
And certainly when we went head to head with Huggins in the era when he was landing major talent to KSU to get Hannah and he became the key to our next 2 seasons, that was almost as important as the time we pried Vanleer away from Lehigh. But not quite I guess.
I also like how Jason Conley, who became the first player in NCAA history to led the nation in scoring as a freshman and Keion Bell who scored over 1,700 points in college is below James Douglas.
