But it’s okay to enjoy the excitement and optimism before the let down. Whether it was Norfolk State, or the Porter injuries, or the 5th down, or DGB and Mike Dixon dismissals, or Tyus Edney coast to coast.... there were great times preceding that. Too often, anytime someone posts good news about anything, someone comes along and reminds us not to calm our expectation and wait for the gut punch. Let us enjoy some optimism once in a while. We are without 2 guys we thought would be our starting forwards in Santos and Porter, but we also have 2 guys that we didn’t know would be a part of the team this year 8 weeks ago in Chris Guess and Mark Smith. Let’s enjoy the ups before the inevitable downs.
