He left the fb team because they wanted him to be a TE. I think he was pretty good at basketball!

Another good basketball player was Tony Galbreath, who famously said he would much rather play badketball, but at his height of 6’2”, it was no longer a good idea. Ironically, he was a bit tall for football. Thank goodness the coaches didn’t know that.
