I think those mistakes are selfish. Last year, we played selfish in the first part of the year, no assignment discipline. Everyone wanting to be a hero and ignoring assignments. To me, staying disciplined enough to not go offsides on crucial downs is assignment football. And the reverse is also true. Giving the other team a first down, or an easy way to get one just shouldn't be done.
