Getting Josh Christopher would be huge for MU bball future

Obviously Michael Porter was higher ranked but we know how that turned out. I believe Josh Christopher would be the second highest ranked recruit for MU since maybe Stipo. We've seen how in this era, top recruits want to play with other top recruits, so it boosts the odds of reeling in guys like Caleb Love for the 2020 class.

Also, in this era of most top high school recruits getting paid major cash (based on recent reporting), there are not that many top players going to come to MU, which is presumably not paying players. So this may be our only shot at another top 10 guy in the next few years (getting Michael Porter was great, in part because we also got Jontay, but let's face it, he didn't help with wins, though he certainly gave a major boost to ticket sales).

Getting Christopher increases the odds of making it back to being a top 20 team, and all the national spotlight attention that brings, bigger crowds back in the arena, etc. It helps Cuonza better cement his situation at MU and could really help strengthen the foundation for the future of the program.
