Dear Faux Pelini,
As a Missouri fan, this latest butt-whooping by Alabama has me thinking that we would have been better off staying in the Big 12. I know that I should be grateful to be a member of the SEC, but I’m not feeling it. What’s wrong with me?

There’s nothing wrong with you (other than the Mizzou fan thing). After playing Alabama, it’s common to suffer from Post-Saban Syndrome (PSS), a condition that forces a fan to question his team’s place in the college football universe.
Steve, your PSS is causing you to long for the days of the Big 12. This is very normal.
The Big 12 was a very good conference. It had history and rivalries and was geographically...
