We were 3-3-1 on the week last week against the Vegas spread. We are now 19-22-1 on the year and need to come up with a huge week to get to the side of profitability.

I went to the Missouri vs. Alabama game last week and outside of a few mental errors and a horrible decision to punt when down 17 but driving in Alabama territory before halftime it wasn't an entirely frustrating trip. MU had some good moments and the atmosphere and the overall day was fantastic (outside of the result of the game part).

This leads us to a very intriguing Homecoming game at the University that created the tradition of Homecoming. MU has done a really good job of blowing out lesser competition in recent years. MU is now favored by 9.5 so it appears that Vegas wants to see folks pick the upset. Not having Emanuel Hall continues to create problems for the good guy Tigers on offense. Memphis also kind of blew a golden opportunity to upset Central Florida last week and they have a great running back.

Still, it's the passing game that gives MU fits and Memphis is 0-2 SU on the road this year despite being significant favorites in each game. Despite the criticism, I might get by picking MU "too often" I think this is a good spot for the home team and I see Memphis as a popular bet choice for the $50 bettors who are usually wrong.

PICK MIZZOU 45-31 (Probably not a game I'd wager on but I have to pick the MU game!)

I'm far from sold on ARKANSAS but Tulsa has what might be the worst passing offense I've seen in big time football in years. The Hogs are fired up to get another win and I think they get it here in a big way. Give the seven points HOGS WIN 34-17

I know Mississippi +3.5 is explosive on offense and AUBURN just didn't show up against Tennessee but I've got to think the Tigers bounce back here so they have something to play for as they take on a murders row of games. I'll take AUBURN by 14 here.

Again, it appears that Las Vegas is begging bettors to take Minnesota this week. You have a winless NEBRASKA team getting four points at home after losing a game it appeared they had won last week. It seems like this is the week that the Huskers keep building on some offensive success and I like them to win this one by 10-17.

I guess I shouldn't take all favorites so there are a couple of dogs I think will cover and very well may win.
I know they have made a change at DC but the Oklahoma defense is horrible. Give me TCU +8 at home.

This PURDUE offense is legit and I would argue they have had four good performances in a row (even the loss to MU was impressive on offense). I'll take the 13 points at home vs. Ohio State in a game I think is a huge upset alert.

That's all for this week! Good luck to your (non Memphis Tiger) team! Happy Homecoming!
