Our O last year was so quick-hitting, teams rarely touched him. That was my fear this year...he’d get happy feet whenever they were close. He’s done just the opposite & im stunned. I would’ve expected he’d be in a rush to get rid of the ball or start dancing. That son of a gun doesn’t seem to give a rip about a pass rush...to a fault.
Bless his toughness but I’m almost ready to see him give some attention to the rush even if it means taking his eyes off his progressions. Get a small dose of happy feet. It’s crazy that he’s been that disciplined. I really feared a repeat of Gabby with the change in offense. Geez Drew, look out for yourself a little!
