Lots and millions of cases of family incongruities
so that means nothing. Maybe that ancestor was
1/4 to 1/8 Cherokee and wanted to overcompensate to
"prove" he wasn't Cherokee.
Many whites have "black" blood in them but probably are among the most racist.
