Those stats are skewed. With Tua injured, Bama left their 1st and 2nd team defensive players longer, just to be safe. A&M took advantage of Bama's backups by using their 1st team offense on two long drives resulting in late TD. A&M has more talent too. Their last coach recruited very well. He just wasn't a game day coach.
As for money, A&M is the most profitable program in the nation. Not only do they rank #1 in revenue, their profit is TWICE as much as Alabama who ranks #5. Missouri did not make the top 25 in revenue but #25 Texas Tech's profit is only about half of Bama's. So you guys shouldn't get down on your school for not spending tens of millions unless you are a booster donating huge sums of money yourself.
