I want to say up front that I don't dislike Kenny Anderson great man bad hire for Mizzou. Missoui followed up this disaster hire with another disaster hire in Barry Odom.
Two hires in a row are MIZZOU SONS and both are flame out disasters. Barry is coaching with Pinkel recruiting classes. Since Pinkel left Odom can't recruit Illinois anymore, and he certainly can't recruit Missouri.
We have a lot of morons on this board who try to see the bright side... there isn't one. You're either trying to WIN a national championship or you're not. Is your goal to be happy a bowl game finishing 6-6 or 7-6 and beating your non-conference teams and a handful of really bad SEC teams? Is that really the goal?
Sad if it is! Mizzou can win a National Championship and we've had several chances being just a game away... Had Mizzou beat Auburn we would have TOASTED Florida State sack after sack. Either way we've had our chances and proved its possible to get there... but what has Barry done NOTHING!
His recruiting classes are terrible. He can't beat a team with a winning record. He's constantly outcoached. He fired all the good coaches from Pinkel staff and assumed total control over the defense... what a disaster.
He's the lowest paid coach and for good reason. Missouri high school coaches are NOT high on the guy and neither are players. He can't recruit, can't coach defense even, he has no experience, its time to move on here.
This can be turned around but Mizzou needs to PONY UP and get a coach worthy of the SEC! With the new building around the corner we need a coach who commands respect from regional high school coaches, and someone who can lock down the state.
