Keith Dewitt never made it here because he bounced around so much and dropped out of high school, and choose to try a diploma mill to get eligible that the NCAA deemed invalid.
But Zaire Taylor did basically the same thing and went to the same diploma mill (so did Justin Safford), and they were model citizens and representatives of the program. There really isn't much difference in their backstory though.
The job of the coach is to mold all these guys with their stories into a productive unit. Ideally Cuonzo would have defined an appropriate role for Harris and helped him realize his potential to both Harris and MU's benefit. That didn't happen. Doesn't mean Cuonzo is a failure overall, but in terms of dealing with Harris he blew it.
