Although elected officials seem to be held to a different standard compared to appointed officials.

Both sides are hypocritical when it comes to accusations like this...and for sure the press plays a big part of it, as they always trash talk and "investigate" that background and spread their "knowledge".

Please explain why this message is being reported.
