Which way is the wind blowing in GOP sails today?

Let’s say Rosenstein was considering taping the President- is that a problem? Thought one-way taping is permissible in DC. If a Republican DOJ Attorney would consider this, it cannot be partisan, right?

Let’s say it was a sarcastic or joking suggestion. Did taping occur? I heard, no, no tapes.
