Mo Speights and the Guangzhou Long Lions move on to the Terrific 12 semifinals at the expense of Ricardo Ratliffe's Mobis Phoebus. Both teams traded double-digit leads throughout the game but it was Mobis Phoebus that was in position to take the decision late in regulation. However, Mo Speights fired a booming triple with a minute to go in regulation, forcing an 89-all tie. Come overtime, Kyle Fogg scored another triple for Guangzhou, giving them a 92-89 lead. The Long Lions would protect that lead, walking away with the win after Shannon Shorter's game-winner for Mobis Phoebus missed.

Mobis Phoebus (0-1) will face the Chiba Jets (0-1) for some sort of consolation victory Thursday.
