Abortion is not a religious issue any more that laws against murder are. In general religious people tend to have a stricter moral code and most are against abortion but there are many non religious people who are against it because they also feel it is wrong to kill our children.
You can also stop with the red herring. There are roughly half a million abortions every year in this country the number of rape related abortions are statistically meaningless. If you abortion advocates are so concerned with the consequences of rape why does the number one, by a mile, provider of abortions refuse to work with prosecutors when underaged or other suspected rape victims come to their offices.
