Ideally I agree, he's probably a guy you'd want as a backup, but the kid is a fighter, he's a senior on a very young team (especially in the backcourt) and he's shown the ability to be coachable----a trait that is not always present in today's players.
I think you're right that he could lead the team in minutes----if I had to bet on that I'd go with Jontay, but Geist will be right up there.
