People are clueless about the restraint used daily.
When officers were standing the line at Ferguson, people cursed at them, threw bottles of urine on them, and threatened that they were going to find their homes and hurt their wives and children. And yet no one got throat punched.
One a**hole was even caught on video telling a Sgt, who was on the phone, "Is that your wife? We gonna fvck her." He should have been eating asphalt.
