If you can't defend effectively against perimeter players that is going to limit you. So depending on match ups and the oppositions personnel on the floor, he could play the "3" on one end and the "4" on the other. You can tell by the type of players he is recruiting he wants to get to the point where it won't matter whose on the floor. They'll be in a good position that the opposition won't be able to create those mismatches against them.
