Both are afraid to tell the truth.
The libs are afraid because the truth reveals their attitudes, motives and ideology. All things they want concealed.
Rs in politics are afraid to be called a racist or an islamophobe or a misogynist or a poopy head by the media.
So libs lie and pretend to be moderate and the media helps them.
Libs tell the truth to their constituents when they think no one is listening. About how great the black marxist was, how socialism is the solution and how trump should be executed for treason. And for being a poopy head.
Oddly, Rs lie to their constituents when they think no one is listening. They come off like fire breathing rock ribbed conservative fire breathing conservatives, when they will vie for the title of the next johnny mccain, john boehner or susan collins.
