Aliens will still enter illegally on the belief that while others might be caught, they will never get caught; but if they do, they can try again later.


*One thing they should add to immigration law is that if you get caught trying to enter illegally, or are caught having entered illegally, you will not be able to make application for legal entry for 5 years, and a second time will permanently prevent you from legal immigration.

How many want to wait 5 years to try again? How many having been caught once, will be deterred from trying to gain access illegally, knowing the consequences. There will still be some that try, but it will discourage a large number as well.

And make it known to them in writing in their native tongue with their signature, photo, and dna sample when caught the first time, do it again and it's a permanent ban on legal immigration, along with a huge fine if they get caught again.
