years, I'd say there's nothing fishy at all going on there. For one thing, they have too many polling places for roughly 5,000 or fewer voters. If 5,000 of the 7,193 residents are registered voters (which is a very very high estimate) that averages 555 voters for every polling place. That is unnecessary. There also may be real reasons why they had to close those polls. We lost 40 of our 188 polls in 2006 because of the ADA. Didn't see the ACLU come snooping around our jurisdiction. Oh yeah, that's because it was the powerful ADA. Many people lost their poll that they voted at for years because maybe 1 person didn't have access to the building. There is a thing called absentee voting. The folks in Randolph county can do the same.
