have been arrested over the years as well, and not all Republicans are corrupt. Perhaps we should all not try and paint an entire group of people with the same brush.

The difference is that when cons act badly, they tend to get reelected anyway, and when Dems act badly, they tend to resign almost immediately. Yes, you can find individual examples that belie my assertion, but they are typically outliers, and the overall correlation seems to hold.
