dinner with my wife and (step)son at Doe's on Dickson Street. Split a 2 lb. porterhouse and it was awesome. He lives down there (job) and is enjoying it pretty well.
Dickson is their main drag for cool bars and restaurants and it's pretty cool. Right off of campus.
It was the weekend girls come in early to rush sororities; saw a lot of parents dropping off kids and hanging out. Glad we're done with that.
South of Fayetteville is a huge park, the Devil's Den. We didn't have much time Sunday morning to explore it but did a 1.5 mile trail hike and from what I saw, it would be a fantastic place for a weekend camping/hiking trip.
The terrain down there is beautiful.
Came back and our mailbox was right where we had left it, but we don't live with the poors.
