The money ain't missing - it was appropriated to the Department of Defense (the GOP pet project), and the DOD simply can't account for how the money was spent (i.e. given to contractors, etc.)
For some strange reason, the DOD's accounting records are not auditable - a FACT that I've pointed out before.
The simple answer is to cut the DOD budget by 15-20% per year, UNTIL that government agency is able to provide an accounting for the money they are appropriated. Instead, you GOPers (especially your daddy tRump) answer is to give the DOD even MORE $ every year.
GTFO of Afghanistan, and cut our defense budget back to a pre-war level.
