he is trying to get out ahead of multiple stories to ease the blow when they make it out into the public. But he does seem to confuse many key points up while trying to spin. If Trump was a normal citizen this would be complete legal malpractice. But from the Trump school of PR perspecitve, I think Rudy is doing what Trump wants him to do and that is muddy the water so his base will still defend him when Mueller's investigation is over.
