I don't want the law....

If I get a drink with a plastic cup and with a plastic straw I haul both around with me until I can put them in recycling. I am currently using a QuikTrip cup that is amonth old and had been washing the straw when I rinse the cup out. My wife finally made me use a new straw and the old one went into recycling.

I don't see mountajns of soda straws washing up on the oceans' beaches. I see lots of plastic bottles, which I also refuse to use and if I have to use one, it goes in recycling.

California legislating against soda straws makes about as much sense as some of the gun laws legislators think will keep people safe.
