develop a platform, candidates or even a semblance of a cohesive message to voters that isn't just a daily assault on Trump?
tj asked why Trump would choose to do something he (tj) feels is economically and politically stupid (tariffs).
I'll ask this:
Does anyone think spending about 99% of your time, the media's time (your biggest asset), and your energy focused on being outraged, calling for impeachment, headlining "russian collusion" is a winning formula for the mid-terms or for 2020?
I'm no expert, but from the couch it looks like that approach failed in 2016 and now it's been magnified and intensified.
If Trump isn't removed from office, what's the game plan?
It looks to me like a free for all of divergent groups whose only commonality is outrage. Will they all come together behind Joe Biden, the "democratic socialist" from NY who can't find Israel on a map, or some other fringe player?
I personally hope nobody wakes Dems and Libs up from their self-gratifying emotional state.
If I were a diehard Democrat, I'd be awfully concerned about a dearth of message, leadership, forward-thinking, focus and plan.
Keep screaming, please!
*** Let's not forget that while HRC was stealing the nomination and calling Trump voters "deplorables", Trump snuck into the minds of voters in the rust belt and told them he cared about their jobs, their economy. whether you like his policies or messages or not, he had them, is working on them and is plugging along on a pretty clearly articulated agenda.
Is that what idiots and clowns do?
