explain it well. Yes the crust moves over the hot spot or what ever you want to call it. It makes its look like the caldera moves over millions of years but the hot spot is really creating new calderas in a string starting south west and moving to the north east.

So the grande tetons could be effected by earthquakes from yellowstone but it isn't part of the volcano.
