don't think any of the people you are challenging disputed that.
They are just pointing out that, like spying, most major nations around the world who have the ability to do so have done so and undoubtedly will continue to do so... and the US is probably the country that has done so for the longest time and on the most massive scale.
These allegations are akin to saying that Russia has spies.
