the idea Bill Clinton's escapades wouldn't fly today is preposterous.
Raw power and the control of the levers of the most powerful financial machine the world has ever seen, which is the federal government, will get a lot of things winked at. That power is what the Clinton's and their compatriots in the repub wing of the One Party can help deliver.
As far as Weinstein is concerned, they can throw him over the side of the ship. Big deal. There will always be another really rich dude willing to bankroll the political machines for a taste of the crumbs of that political power
