Given everything that has happened and how biased against Trump the whole Mueller probe has been, does anyone else wonder why democrats are so vocal about Trump canceling the Putin summit?

Is it because they think refusing to talk to Putin is a good strategy going forward, or is it because they are hiding something? What could Putin know that he could share with Trump and/or others.
