Clearly your lines are skewed.

I doubt anyone has a problem calling these people animals for the way they acted. That is not racist.

Calling someone an animal because they LOOK a certain way is racist. Calling someone an animal is to dehumanize them. Doing that because of some perceived ethnic superiority is racist.
