Whether you accept it or not, it is very much aligned with slavery and totalitarianism. They are denials of the individual and the individual's rights; they are collectivist based. Have you ever read To Kill a Mockingbird? There is a scene where Scout calls out a person in a lynch mob by name; she stripped the collective away in what was for her an innocent moment

All totalitarian regimes deny the individual.
