Kim Anderson inherited just two players with previous DI experience (when you go with Rag's preferred method of counting Haith's final year as zero). Those two players were Rosburg and Deuce Bello (from Baylor).
The team Martin inherited had Barnett (including both UT and MU wins), Puryear, Geist, Nikko, VanLeer, and Phillips.
But I forgot to include Hughes, Walton, Kemp, and Smith (technically all were still on the roster when Martin was announced, I think). So technically we could add another 21 to 32 wins to the total (depending on whether you want to include games Smith was on the roster for but injured and whether you include Kemp even though he redshirted).
The point—obviously tongue in cheek—is that Anderson "improved" the roster by leaving us with a small handful of guys who had a few years of experience on bad teams, which in Rag world is better than an inexperienced roster with more natural talent.
