This is the true way to reduce carbon emissions.
For those unfamiliar, a salt reactor is more efficient, thorium can't be used to make a nuclear weapon, and overall, a safer design than steam.
Instead, our left wants to spend trillions on unreliable wind power, solar, instead of an actual working solution to replace coal. Not to mention hundreds of millions in legal fees on stopping any attempt to do a new nuclear plant here.
