and presidential elections, so the court would probably have jurisdiction here.

I think it's a good decision, as long as election judges who are at the polls all day long aren't wearing political stuff. Electioneering should be avoided. Most voters don't spend more than a few minutes inside the polling booth and don't normally outwardly electioneer while there, so this decision seems reasonable.
